Mort Meskin
Biography
Mort Meskin was an American Golden Age comic artist who began at the Eisner & Iger studio drawing Sheena, Queen of the Jungle for Fiction House. He moved to National Comics in 1941, drawing Vigilante, Wildcat, Starman, and Johnny Quick, then joined the Simon and Kirby studio in 1949. He returned to National in 1956, working across war, science fiction, and horror titles. Meskin later worked in advertising illustration and was inducted into the Will Eisner Hall of Fame in 2013.
