Ryōji Ryūzaki is a Japanese manga artist born in Nagasaki Prefecture in 1953. He worked as an assistant to several manga creators before debuting in 1972 in a magazine from the publisher Akita Shoten. He became known for sports and martial arts manga, with stories spanning baseball, rugby, sumo, and mixed martial arts. Among his works is a manga adaptation of the video game Street Fighter.
