David Mazzucchelli started his career in comics during the early 1980s, working as an artist for both Marvel and DC Comics. He is well-known for his successful partnership with writer Frank Miller on notable works such as 'Batman: Year One' and 'Daredevil'. After several years in the superhero genre, he shifted his focus to a different creative path, producing comics that were featured in his own anthology, Rubber Blanket. His work has gained international recognition and has received multiple awards, including a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
