Reed Crandall was an American comics artist known for the precision of his line work across four decades. He is best known for his long run on the Blackhawk series in the early 1940s and his horror and science fiction work for EC Comics in the 1950s, and later contributed to Warren Publishing before a stroke ended his drawing career in 1974.
