Otakon is a large annual anime and East Asian pop culture convention held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The 2026 edition runs July 31–August 2 and features exhibitor halls, an artist alley, an art show, anime and film screenings, voice-actor and creator guests, concerts, a masquerade, cosplay, tabletop and video gaming, panels, and workshops on anime, manga, and East Asian culture. It is one of the longest-running anime conventions in the United States.
