Sympathy for the Jersey Devil
The run opens with J.D. already installed as the Pine Barrens' resident legend, a hermit who has taken the Jersey Devil's name for his own and polices the woods under it. A woman is abducted, a chemical outfit is quietly emptying its drums into the pines, and the restless ghost of a pirate works the same stretch of trees. Tony DiGerolamo writes, Steven Cornicelli and Bill Young draw, and Dom LaGrutta, Jr. supplies the cover. Thirty-two black and white pages from DiGerolamo's own South Jersey Rebellion Productions, cover priced at $2.25 and labelled for mature readers.
