In a battered future shaped by Al Simmons's last act, ex-soldier Peter Cairn gains Hellspawn power through the nanites in his prosthetic legs. Part of Todd McFarlane's expanding Spawn universe, the book sends a wounded veteran into a grim, war-scarred world he barely understands. Erica Schultz and Ze Carlos give the corner of the line a fresh, street-level edge.
