A six-issue miniseries by David Hine and Michael Gaydos. In the small town of Redemption, Alabama, a child is found murdered and a teenage outsider is arrested, presumed guilty because of the way he dresses and the music he loves. Matt Murdock travels far from Hell's Kitchen to defend the accused against a community convinced the killing was a satanic ritual.
The story draws on the real case of the West Memphis Three and keeps its focus on Murdock the lawyer rather than the costumed hero. It is a self-contained legal drama about prejudice, faith, and the fight for a fair trial.
