The Incredible Hulk (1968)

Continuing from Tales to Astonish, this long-running series follows Bruce Banner and his gamma-irradiated alter ego through decades of transformation. Beginning with issue #102, the series explores Banner's struggle to control the monster within while facing threats from the Abomination, the Leader, and countless others.

The title is best known for Peter David's twelve-year run (1987-1998), which redefined the character by exploring multiple Hulk personas and delving into Banner's fractured psyche. Running 474 issues before relaunching in 1999.
