DC war anthology launched in 1952 that became the primary showcase for Sgt. Rock and his Easy Company. The series introduced the character in issue #82 and ran for 301 issues before being renamed Sgt. Rock in 1977. Under editor Robert Kanigher and artist Joe Kubert, it defined DC's approach to the World War II grunt.
