Imperial Guardians is an ongoing cosmic series from writer Dan Abnett and artist Marcelo Ferreira, launched in the wake of Jonathan Hickman's Imperial storyline. Maximus of the Inhumans secretly assembles five operatives, including Captain Marvel, Gamora, Darkhawk, Amadeus Cho, and Cosmic Ghost Rider, to protect the fragile new Galactic Union. Their mission calls for deniable, off-the-books work that official channels cannot sanction, with failure not an option.
