Henry is a private investigator who prefers blunt methods. Ethan, his husband, is a former Upper East Side socialite now estranged from his wealthy family. Their worlds rarely overlap professionally, but that changes when a priceless diamond vanishes on Ethan's watch.

Suspicion lands on Ethan, and clearing his name requires both men to work outside their comfort zones. Henry must navigate Manhattan's elite social circles, while Ethan takes on the legwork of actual detective work. The result is part screwball mystery, part love story, modeled on the banter and tension of classic films like The Thin Man.
