Description
Bishop is a five issue limited series spotlighting Lucas Bishop, the energy absorbing mutant who traveled back from a ruined future to stand with the X-Men. Writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Mario Santoro build the run around the soldier and the unbending personal code that has long defined him. The premise brings his sister Shard into the present at the moment just before her death, forcing Bishop to weigh his sworn duty to protect the timeline against the chance to save the only family he has left. It is a focused character study that sets time travel stakes against the question of how far a disciplined man will bend his own rules. Davide Paratore provides the main cover.
