Jack Coates runs a private security firm that takes the cases other people turn down. His advantage is a rare and painful psychic gift. He can reach into the darkest corners of a person's mind, where every secret and every buried sin sits exposed.
That ability makes him very good at his work, but it also wears on him. When Coates puts his faith in the wrong people, the distance between protector and target starts to collapse.
Ande Parks writes, with Dave Wachter on interior art and Brad Simpson on colors. The limited series leans on noir atmosphere and psychological horror, built around a damaged lead who carries other people's worst moments.
