VerseDB uses a contribution system that rewards users for helping improve the comic database. When you submit edits, they go through an approval process, and approved contributions earn you XP.
The Contribution Flow
- You submit an edit - Add or update information about a series, issue, character, or creator
- Edit enters the queue - Your submission is reviewed by moderators
- Approval decision - The edit is approved, rejected, or sent back for revision
- XP awarded - Approved edits earn you XP
- Email notification - You'll receive a daily email summary of your approved/rejected edits
What You Can Contribute
- Series information - Add missing series or update details
- Issue data - Add issues, update release dates, prices, and credits
- Character profiles - Add characters or update their information
- Creator profiles - Add creators or update their biographies
- Cover images - Upload missing cover artwork
- Story arc connections - Link issues to story arcs
