How to Use the Search Bar Effectively
What it is
The search bar is your go-to tool for exploring VerseDB. You can use it to find anything — from a single issue to a full series, character, creator, publisher, and beyond.
Where to find it
The search bar is always visible at the top of the site, whether you're browsing, logged in, or on mobile. Just start typing and it will instantly begin showing results.
How to use it
- Click or tap the search bar at the top of any page
- Start typing the name of what you're looking for — example: Spider-Man
- As you type, instant results will appear below, grouped by type:
- Series
- Issues
- Characters
- Creators
- Publishers
- Click any result to jump directly to that page
You can search by:
- Title of a comic or series
- Character name
- Creator name (e.g., writer, artist)
- Publisher
- Issue number (when paired with a title)
