Hera is the queen of the Olympian gods in Marvel Comics, based on the Greek goddess and created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. She is the wife of Zeus and one of the most powerful Olympian deities, possessing superhuman strength, energy manipulation, and shapeshifting abilities. In the Marvel Universe, she is a recurring antagonist in stories featuring Hercules, whom she has tried to destroy since Zeus fathered him with a mortal woman. She was the central villain of the Incredible Hercules series.
