Chilly Willy is a penguin who cannot stand the cold, created by Paul Smith at the Walter Lantz studio in 1953 and sharpened by Tex Avery in the shorts that followed. He became the studio's second-biggest star after Woody Woodpecker. Dell gave him nine comics of his own between 1956 and 1962.
