Aristotle Anaximenes Heraclitus Papagelis47 series645 issues
Private Plato is the intellectual member of the Camp Swampy platoon in Mort Walker's Beetle Bailey, which began syndication in 1950. Named after the Greek philosopher, he is a comically erudite contrast to the soldiers around him, pursuing scholarly interests at odds with army life.
