Second Lieutenant Sonny Fuzz is a recurring character in Mort Walker's comic strip Beetle Bailey, introduced in 1956. Young, eager, and rigidly by the book, he is the greenest officer at Camp Swampy.
Fuzz constantly tries to impress General Halftrack and pull rank on the enlisted men, with results that usually deflate him. Walker based the character partly on his own days as an inexperienced young Army officer.
