Description
Wesley Dodds is the original Sandman of DC Comics, a Golden Age mystery man created by Gardner Fox and Bert Christman who first appeared in 1939. Haunted by prophetic dreams, the wealthy Dodds donned a green suit, fedora, and gas mask to fight crime with a gun that fired sedative gas. He was a founding member of the Justice Society of America and one of the earliest masked heroes in DC's history.
