Johnny Thunder

Johnny Thunder is a DC Comics Golden Age superhero who first appeared in Flash Comics #1 in 1940. An ordinary young man who unknowingly possesses the ability to summon and command a magical pink thunderbolt genie named Yz, he became a member of the Justice Society of America. His bumbling personality and tendency to accidentally activate his powers through careless speech provided comic relief within the otherwise more serious JSA membership.
