Biography
Lise Myhre is a Norwegian cartoonist best known for the daily comic strip Nemi, which debuted in the newspaper Dagbladet in 1999. The strip follows a goth heroine and became one of Norway's biggest commercial comics successes, syndicated in roughly 150 newspapers worldwide. Myhre won the Raptus Comic Festival's debutant prize in 1999 and the Oslo City Art Prize in 2002. Her art later appeared on an official Norwegian postage stamp marking 100 years of Norwegian comics.
