Dexter Taylor was an American cartoonist who spent more than fifty years at Archie Comics. Born in Brantford, Ontario, and trained at the Vesper George Art School in Boston, he joined Archie's production department in the 1950s before assisting artist Bob Bolling on Little Archie. He took over as the title's regular writer and artist in 1965, drawing the whimsical adventures of Archie and his friends as children for nearly two decades.
