Biography
Japanese manga artist born in 1983, best known for Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, a fantasy series serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday from 2009 to 2017. Magi won the 59th Shogakukan Manga Award in the shonen category. Her debut serialization Sumomomo Momomo ran in Young Gangan from 2004 to 2009. She later created Orient, serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine beginning in 2018.
