Ernie Colón was a Puerto Rican comics artist who worked in the industry for over sixty years. He began at Harvey Comics on titles like Casper and Richie Rich, later co-created Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld at DC and Damage Control at Marvel, and served as a DC editor in the early 1980s. He is also known for his 2006 graphic novel adaptation of the 9/11 Commission Report.
