Mitsuteru Yokoyama
Biography
Mitsuteru Yokoyama was a Japanese manga artist who began his professional career in 1956 with Tetsujin 28-go, a groundbreaking mecha series serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine. His subsequent works, including Sally the Witch and Giant Robo, helped define the magical girl and super robot genres. He is also known for his long historical adaptations, including Sangokushi, a retelling of China's Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
