Winslow Mortimer

A Canadian comic book penciller who joined DC Comics in 1945 and became one of its most prolific cover artists during the following decade. Mortimer's work included covers and stories featuring Superman, Batman, and Superboy, and he illustrated Superman newspaper daily strips from 1949 to 1955. He later contributed to Marvel on Spidey Super Stories and to Gold Key titles including The Twilight Zone.
