Ellie De Ville

Ellie De Ville was a British comics letterer whose career was closely associated with 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine, where she worked for nearly thirty years. Her lettering style was recognized for a characteristic backwards Q. Beyond the British weeklies, she lettered titles for DC and other publishers including The Invisibles, Lucifer, and Batman: Man-Bat. She passed away on December 24, 2019, from pancreatic cancer, completing her last lettering assignment from her hospital bed.
