Description
Zorro is a masked vigilante created by Johnston McCulley, first appearing in the 1919 pulp story 'The Curse of Capistrano' and quickly adapted into comics form across multiple publishers. His alter ego is Don Diego de la Vega, a seemingly idle California nobleman who conceals his identity while defending the oppressed against corrupt authorities with sword and whip. Zorro has appeared in comics from Dell, Gold Key, Marvel, and Dynamite Entertainment across more than a century of publication.
