Skeezix Wallet
CharacterDescription
Skeezix Wallet is a central character in Frank King's long-running Gasoline Alley newspaper comic strip, first appearing in February 1921 as an abandoned infant left on the doorstep of Walt Wallet, who adopted and raised him. The strip is notable for aging its characters in real time, and Skeezix grew from infant to adult over the strip's decades-long run, eventually becoming an auto mechanic. He is one of the most enduring figures in American newspaper comic history.
