Description

Lupo Alberto is the title character of the long-running Italian comic series created by Guido Silvestri, known by the pen name Silver, which debuted in 1974 in the magazine Corriere dei Ragazzi. He is a blue wolf who lives on the McKenzie farm and whose repeated attempts to steal a hen named Martha, who is also his girlfriend, are foiled each time by Moses the sheepdog. The series became one of the most popular Italian comics of its era, eventually spawning an animated television series and an extensive merchandising franchise.
