Description
Judge Dredd is a law enforcement officer in the futuristic Mega-City One and the flagship character of the British weekly anthology comic 2000 AD. Created by writer John Wagner and artist Carlos Ezquerra, he first appeared in 2000 AD #2 (1977). Dredd serves simultaneously as judge, jury, and executioner, wielding total authority to dispense justice on the spot without trial. One of his defining visual traits is that his face is never fully shown, his helmet obscuring his features in every story across nearly five decades.
