Fred Flintstone

Fred Flintstone is a good-natured but hot-tempered working-class man living in the prehistoric town of Bedrock with his wife Wilma and daughter Pebbles, the central character of Hanna-Barbera's animated television series The Flintstones, which premiered on September 30, 1960. Voiced originally by Alan Reed, he works as a bronto crane operator at the Slate Rock and Gravel Company and is best friends with his neighbor Barney Rubble. The character appeared in Dell Four Color and Gold Key comic adaptations beginning in the early 1960s and has been published across numerous comics imprints since.
