Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger is a masked former Texas Ranger named John Reid who survived an ambush that killed his brother and five fellow Rangers, then took on a hidden identity to fight injustice across the American West. He rides a white stallion named Silver and partners with the Potawatomi tracker Tonto in his ongoing pursuit of outlaws. The character originated in radio broadcasting and has appeared in comics from publishers including Dell and Dynamite Entertainment.
