Description

Tonto is the Native American companion of the Lone Ranger in comics adaptations of the franchise that began with a radio drama in 1933. A skilled tracker and horseman who rides the horse Scout, he assists the Lone Ranger in campaigns against outlaws and injustice in the frontier West. The Lone Ranger comics have been published by multiple companies including Dell, Gold Key, and Dynamite Entertainment over several decades.
