Fauntleroy Fox is one half of the comedic animal duo the Fox and the Crow, created by animator Frank Tashlin for Screen Gems in the 1940s. A naive and easily deceived red fox, he is the recurring target of elaborate schemes devised by his scheming companion Crawford Crow. The Fox and the Crow ran as a DC Comics series for 108 issues from January 1952 to March 1968, featuring the pair in lighthearted slapstick funny animal stories.
