Description

Steve Roper is the photojournalist protagonist of an adventure newspaper comic strip created by Allen Saunders and Elmer Woggon that launched in 1948, syndicated by Publishers Syndicate. Originally centering on Roper's investigations as a magazine writer, the strip later added the more action-focused Mike Nomad as a co-protagonist, becoming Steve Roper and Mike Nomad. The strip ran until 1981, covering four decades of globe-trotting adventure and crime investigation.
