Description

Fethry Duck is a Disney comics character created by Dick Kinney and Al Hubbard. He first appeared in 1964 in stories produced for international Disney comics markets.

Fethry is Donald Duck's eccentric, enthusiastic cousin who throws himself wholeheartedly into one hobby or obsession after another, dragging an unwilling Donald along. His interests range from fitness crazes to amateur science to artistic pursuits, all pursued with boundless energy and zero competence. He is well-meaning but oblivious to the chaos he causes.

Fethry was created primarily for the Brazilian and Italian Disney comics markets, where he became enormously popular. He appears far less frequently in American Disney publications. In European and South American comics, he is a major member of the Duck family cast, appearing in thousands of stories. He gained wider recognition through the DuckTales animated reboot (2017), which introduced him to a new generation of fans.
