Description

Tuffy, also known as Nibbles, is a small orphan mouse and Jerry's nephew in the Tom and Jerry animated franchise. Created by Gaylord Du Bois, the character first appeared in Our Gang Comics #1 (1942) under the name Tuffy before his animated debut in the 1946 MGM short The Milky Waif. He is depicted as a diaper-wearing, perpetually hungry mouse whose innocent nature contrasts with the more cunning characters around him. Tuffy appeared in several Academy Award-winning theatrical shorts alongside Tom and Jerry.
