Description
Rick Grimes is a Kentucky sheriff's deputy and the protagonist of Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore's comic series The Walking Dead. He awakens from a coma to find the world overrun by the undead, and sets out to find his family before taking on the reluctant role of leader among a group of survivors. The series ran for 193 issues from 2003 to 2019, centering on Rick's efforts to maintain humanity and community in the face of both the zombie apocalypse and the dangers posed by other survivors.
