Description

Ichigo Kurosaki is a teenager with naturally ginger hair and the protagonist of Tite Kubo's manga series Bleach. After an encounter with the Soul Reaper Rukia Kuchiki, he absorbs her powers and takes on her duty of combating malevolent spirits called Hollows while protecting the residents of Karakura Town. Bleach began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001 and ran for 74 volumes, with Ichigo consistently ranked the series' most popular character in reader polls.
