Description
Monkey D. Luffy, also known as Straw Hat Luffy, is the main protagonist of the manga series One Piece, created by Eiichiro Oda and serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997. After accidentally eating a Devil Fruit that gave his body the properties of rubber, Luffy sets out to sail the Grand Line in search of the legendary treasure One Piece and become King of the Pirates. He captains the Straw Hat Pirates and is known for his carefree optimism, fierce loyalty to his crew, and refusal to abandon his goals regardless of the odds.
