Description
Roronoa Zoro is the swordsman and first mate of the Straw Hat Pirates in Eiichiro Oda's manga One Piece, first published in 1997. He practices a self-developed fighting style called Three Sword Style, wielding a blade in each hand and a third held in his teeth. Driven by a vow made to a deceased childhood friend and rival, his defining goal is to become the greatest swordsman in the world. He was one of the earliest members to join Monkey D. Luffy's crew and serves as its primary combatant.
