Description
Marsupilami is a fictional monkey-like creature with an extraordinarily long prehensile tail, created by Belgian cartoonist André Franquin and first appearing in Spirou magazine on January 31, 1952. Originally a supporting character in the Spirou and Fantasio series, he eventually headlined his own spin-off comics series with dozens of volumes published by multiple writers and artists since Franquin's retirement from the character in the 1970s. He is one of the most recognized characters in Belgian and French-language comics.
