Hard Haid Moe

Hard Haid Moe is a grumpy hillbilly character in Disney comics, created by Dick Kinney and Al Hubbard in 1964. He lives in the Calisota countryside near Duckburg and is deeply suspicious of city folk, often chasing off visitors with his shotgun. His companion is a heavyset dog called Houn' Dawg. Moe appeared frequently in Disney Studios comics from the 1960s onward, often alongside Fethry Duck, and later became popular in Brazil, where he headlined his own series, Urtigao.
