Description

Pedrão is a large, physically imposing boy who lives in the Bairro do Limoeiro neighborhood in Mauricio de Sousa's Turma da Mônica comics. As a neighborhood bully and antagonist, he regularly clashes with the strip's main characters, often underestimating Monica's tenacity and strength. The Turma da Mônica comics, which began as newspaper strips in 1959 and expanded into monthly publications, became a cornerstone of Brazilian children's publishing.
