Description

B.C. is a caveman character and the nominal lead of the American newspaper comic strip of the same name, created by Johnny Hart and debuting in 1958. The strip is set in a stylized prehistoric era populated by cavemen and anachronistic animals, with B.C. and his friends navigating Stone Age life with modern sensibilities. The strip became widely known for wordplay, philosophical gags, and recurring running jokes, and Hart wrote and drew it until his death in 2007, after which it was continued by his family.
