Placid

Placid is one of the two lead characters in the French comic strip Placid et Muzo, created by José Cabrero Arnal for Vaillant magazine in 1946. An anthropomorphic animal duo, Placid and his companion Muzo appeared in hundreds of short strips published through Vaillant and its successor Pif Gadget, making them a long-running presence in French children's comics over several decades and through multiple artists.
