Dangioffre's Review of Issue #4
Hannah Rose May keeps this series firing on all cylinders. As always the art from Miriana Puglia is fantastic and Dearbhla Kelly's colors give every page that perfect uneasy vibe. Ivy continues to steal the show and the runway, and watching her put more of the pieces together while still being powerless to actually stop what is happening is what makes this book work. The Paris setting is a great change of pace and the trip is anything but relaxing once Noa's visions start kicking in. Purple and the surFACE agency are shady as ever, pretending to pamper the girls while clearly playing a bigger game behind the scenes. Overall I really enjoyed this one. It is a great build up to the finale and I am fully locked in for issue 5. May has done a fantastic job pacing this series and the anticipation for how it all wraps up is real.
